- Platform knowledge on Windows and Unix / Linux
- Applied experience in statistical and machine learning methods
- Programming in Python, MySQL, MariaDB, VBA, JMP
- English (fluent in word ad script); German is a plus
- Basic knowledge and understanding of advanced CMOS technology, standard cell logic and digital circuit design
- Experience using EDA tools, e.g. for layout/design implementation (Virtuso, ICC2, PT, PRPX, ...) and verification (Calibre, Quantus, StarRC, HSpice, Spectre, ...)

Python Job Details
Working embedded in a team covering the test chip lifecycle for advanced CMOS technologies from pre- to post-silicon, you will contribute to the extension and enhancement of the data analysis framework. This entails the development and maintenance of an automated setup for pre-Si characterization an the one hand, and post-Si data management and analysis on the other. Finally, the data analysis aspects need to be sanitized against expected behavior and cross-checked against further data sources. For this you will be working with the design and post-Si characterization experts to define standardized data handling protocols.
Please note that students need to be enrolled during the whole period of employment in order to be eligible for the student position.
Ideally you can join for min 12 months as of September/October 2022.
Qualifications
You should be studying towards a master degree in electrical engineering, computer science or other natural science.
